Onyx Glazed |
| Though still considered a glaze, the Onyx color is set apart by the fact that it is an all over glaze, not just for accenting. For this finish we start with a Cordovan stained door, apply the Onyx glaze all over, and by hand add minor distresses to the surface, allowing just a hint of the rich cherry under-finish and a little natural wood to peer through. It is beautiful and completely unique. |

Glazed Cabinet Finishes
Glazed finishes create breathtaking depths of color while adding luster and definition not found on standard finish cabinets. Woods are stained, sealed, glazed, wiped, detail-glazed then varnished in this complex, old-world process. Custom glazed cabinets will add a new dimension to your cabinetry and make a bold statement. Glazing is offered on a variety of styles; as long as there is a dimensional profile to the door or drawer they can be glazed.
